Novato Charities

Novato and its surrounding cities are compassionate, loving, and supportive of their community members. There are countless charities and non-profit organizations throughout the town, encouraging the community to support various causes. Here are a few of our favorites.

Face the World Foundation
7599 Redwood Boulevard
Novato, CA 94949
415-892-0949

Face the World, or FTW, is a non-profit organization that focuses on the promotion of global learning and exchange. FTW offers opportunities to international high school students who are interested in education in the United States. The organization gives families, schools, and communities a life-changing experience through the integration of culture.

Homeward Bound of Marin
1385 N Hamilton Parkway
Novato, CA 94949
415-382-3363

Homeward Bound has a specific mission of providing shelter, care, and residential services to homeless individuals and families in the county. The overall hard-hitting goal of Homeward Bound is to end homelessness in the whole county by offering the services necessary to make that great change in the long run. The non-profit is a very successful organization, serving about 1,200 people each year.

Project Avary
385 Bel Marin Keys Boulevard
Suite G
Novato, CA 94949

Project Avary is a great organization that helps to improve the lives of children who have parents in prison. Kids with incarcerated parents are considered “at-risk” youths because they are missing pivotal guidance and training to help develop their emotional and social skills. Project Avary was one of the first non-profits that focuses specifically on kids with incarcerated parents and since its debut, the organization has helped over 400 kids in the area.
